All babies have a 7 day guarantee if any illness is diagnosed by an avian vet upon examination. It is the owners responsibility to bring the baby to an avian vet of their choice and at their expense within the first 7 days if so desired. In the unfortunate case of the death of a baby in the first 7 days, then a necropsy done by an avian vet would be required, with a definitive diagnosis of illness or genetic defect to be at cause for the death.
